Phase I of Tianda Petrochemical is located in the Tongnan Industrial Park, Tongcheng Town, Tianchang City. The facility has an annual production capacity of 40,000 tons of polypropylene, covering an area of approximately 107,000 square meters with a total investment of 180 million yuan. It is equipped with 8 reaction vessels along with auxiliary and utility facilities, and includes 4 self-built 1,000-cubic-meter spherical propylene tanks and various horizontal tanks. The warehouse spans 15,000 square meters, and the project commenced production in 2012.
Phase II of Tianda Petrochemical is situated in the Tianchang Chemical Industrial Park. The facility boasts an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of polypropylene and is invested and constructed by Anhui Tianda Group, one of China's top 500 private enterprises. With a total investment of 1.08 billion yuan, the project occupies 221 mu (about 107,000 square meters). Construction began in October 2020, with plans to build 36,000 square meters of new workshops and auxiliary buildings, procure 400 sets of non-standard production equipment, and establish two new 150,000-ton/year polypropylene production lines. Additionally, the facility includes 8 spherical propylene tanks with a capacity of 2,000 cubic meters each, 12 propylene unloading stations capable of simultaneous operations, and a warehouse covering 20,000 square meters. Equipment commissioning was completed in December 2023, and trial production commenced in January 2024.
The project adopts the SPG liquid-phase bulk + gas-phase polymerization process, a proprietary polypropylene polymerization technology developed to meet specific requirements of the domestic market. The products include:
Polypropylene powder, produced via a continuous process with more stable melt index, enabling customized services for clients.
Polypropylene pellets, used for general-purpose materials, high-transparency materials, PPR-specific materials, thin-wall injection molding materials, etc.
The facility is also designed to produce ternary copolymer materials, equipped with three pelletizing production lines to enhance production flexibility and market competitiveness.
